In an unlikely event of any technical fault, the money does, not reach to BMC even after a successful deduction from the payer's account, the same will be refunded to the payer and the corresponding tax/fee/charge will remain as unpaid. Such refund will be made by the payment gateway provider.
Payer will be responsible to make sure that the payment is made against the correct tax/fee/charges as intended. Once a payment is made and same updated in demand notice, the same cannot be adjusted any other tax/fee/charge subsequently.
In case of any failure of transaction in online payment process of property tax, if the amount is deducted from tax payer's account and the same is not reflecting in demand notice then please drop mail to : itbmc@bmcwbgov.in stating assessee no and details. The issue will be addressed in forty five (45) working days.
